Hello! My name is Terilyn Goode and I am a P.E. teacher here at Centerville Junior High.  I am ecstatic to be returning to such an awesome school. I am excited to be part of the Centerville P.E. department again and am glad that I get a chance to work with all of the other great teachers in the department, as well as the school.

I grew up in San Jose and attended San Jose City College for two years, where I played on the Women's Basketball team and received my Associate degree. After San Jose City College, I attended Cal State East Bay/Hayward, where I continued to play 2 more years of basketball and one year of softball and received my Bachelors degree in kinesiology and my secondary teaching credential.

After I graduated, I was an assistant coach for the Cal State East Bay Women’s Basketball team for 2 years, a student teacher here at Centerville and a substitute teacher for the Fremont Unified School District. I also worked for the City of San Ramon, where I was a counselor for their youth sports camp, officiated their youth basketball and flag football leagues, and taught sport classes, like basketball and soccer, to kids ages 3-8. Last year, I coached Centerville’s after school Girl’s Volleyball and Basketball teams. I look forward to coaching both again this year.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy working out, playing basketball and flag football and cruising the streets on my longboard skateboard.  I am a huge 49er, SF Giants, and Sharks fan and try to go to as many games as possible. I love being active and want to use P.E. as a way for me to teach students different ways to stay active. I love to lead by example, so at times, I just cant help but join in with my students when they are participating in a physical activity to help keep them motivated.

If you have any questions or concerns about our P.E. program and/or the Girl’s volleyball or basketball teams, please email me at is my preferred method of contact.  Thanks for your time and have a great year!
